The
red brick building is the IDOT building used for traffic surveillance on the
expressway system. Widening the
expressway would mean the grass and planted slope would be
cut back and become a retaining wall.
The
Eisenhower Expressway and the CTA Blue Line tracks are in the middle and
foreground.
