MULTI-MODAL SOLUTIONS WORK BETTER THAN SINGLE-MODE SOLUTIONS, SUCH AS THE PROPOSED HOV LANES

There are three modes of transportation in the Eisenhower Transportation Corridor.

1. Eisenhower Expressway - 6 through lanes

2. CTA Blue Line - 2 tracks with space for a 3^rd Express Track

3. CSX Rail Freight Line - 2 or 3 tracks
